Hey!!

Thanks so much for being here! Im Ali, and this is my dream job. I don't call it that because I always dreamed of being a florist. (I actually wanted to be a vet, and then a Spanish teacher when I was growing up.) I call it that because this feels like a dream. I can't believe I get to do what I love and call it work. You know that phrase "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life"? yeah, that. 100% that. I love flowers, I love making things, I love working with my hands. I love taking care of something and watching it bloom, whether its my friends kids, my actual pack of dogs (its true, I got a lot of them) or finicky flowers that need babied in order to be their best. But most of all, I love the connections that this "job" has helped me create with folks from all walks of life. I continue to meet the best people I know because of flowers, and that's pretty f'in cool.

• I am extremely passionate about animals/animal welfare. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own, and I volunteer at local shelters and rescues whenever possible.

• I'm an anime nerd! I got hooked on Dragon Ball Z as a kid and never stopped! Demon Slayer, Tokyo Ghoul, and My Hero Academia are current favorites

• I love music and I'm a concert junkie. I can appreciate all kinds of it, but I lean into the alternative/punk rock genre most often. It was never a phase!!! Another nod to the biz name, too

• I will drink an iced coffee even if it is -2 degrees outside

• Sad? The Office. Happy? The Office. Need something to fall asleep to? The Office. Having an existential crisis? The Office.

• biiiiiiig podcast gal right here. there are so many in my library but if i had to narrow down some favorites, they'd be Dateline (lol) Something Was Wrong, and Crime Junkie.
